Underpaid postage : how to report to eBay?

A seller has sent me an unwanted item, with insufficient postage on it. It is, apparently a "free gift" but came a week after the original purchase and after feedback had been left
I had to pay the £1.50 at the sorting office before they would bring the item out, otherwise I would have refused it.
I have sent pictures of the envelope (with the 'underpaid' yellow sticker) and the receipt but she denies she is due me any money.
Do I report this situation to eBay? The only option I have is 'return item' but the original purchase was perfect.
******"UPDATE: refund received - thank you for the suggestions and advice!*****

I can't see there is anything ebay can or will do, other than perhaps a gesture of goodwill payment to you, but that is doubtful although worth a try.0

Do you know, I think I shall just leave it go.
If it had been £1.51, then......... :rotfl:I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
sounds like a good way to get back at bad ebay buyers, send them some junk and make them they pay the postage lol0

I’d of just not paid.0

Send it back with insufficient postage. Can you leave follow up feedback?0

I’d of just not paid.
I had to pay before they brought out the item - which I thought was something from another seller.
I had absolutely no idea that I was getting this "free gift" - nothing had been said in the initial transaction.
Next time I shall be prepared, but this is the first time in my life I have ever had an underpaid item.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -

Looks like I shall have to as the seller has come back with an offer of £1.50 discount on my next purchase....plus a free gift :doh:I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
Make sure they pay sufficient postage on the free gift otherwise you'll end up with a problem similar to one i recently read about on this forum.
Oh wait....May you find your sister soon Helli.
