NCP Appeal - Help Needed

Hello all,

And thank you in advance for your help.

Case summary: PCNTK parking without payment
Operator: NCP
Duration: 11 minutes
Days elapsed until notice was issued: 36

The appeal was going to be based as follows:

1. NTK was received more than 14 days after the alleged incident.
2. Necessary wording for keeper liability missing on NTK.
3. Grace period unclear and not properly applied.
4. No period of parking given on NTK.

Details for each point was going to be same as indicated in other sections.

Is there anything I should add or leave out?

Many thanks in advance.

Is this a first appeal or POPLA stage?

Was there any windscreen PCN on the day, or just an ANPR camera one sent very late?

Is this a lease or company car? I can't understand why it took them a month otherwise.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It is still at an appeal stage.

Its an ANPR sent more than a month late.

    Privately owned car.

Is there a better approach at an appeal stage in this case?
    Many thanks!

Were you looking for a space? Have you read this?

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so consider complaining to your MP.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

Send the appeal template in blue text from post 1 of the NEWBIES. Either send it unaltered from the keeper, or very carefully add a one liner without giving away the driver's identity if you wish, that the NTK was received too late for keeper liability to apply so they should cancel now to save themselves money.

    Save everything else for PoPLA.

Don't forget to complain to your MP about this unregulated scam.

    Quick update.

I followed Fruitcake's instruction above to the tee, and today I received a note saying "Having
considered the content of your letter this notice has been cancelled."

Thanks all for your help, and maybe this thread will serve of use to others.

Great! Did you add the one liner telling them the postal PCN arrived too late? :D
