OP, sorry I don't have any advice , just to say that this thread has absolutely put me off buying a Linden home*, in the future I will be buying, and should any candidates be Linden, either new or old, I'll steer well clear.
* anyone can make mistakes it's how they deal with them that's the issue.0 -
Bl**dy hell, what nightmare. The only way they will listen is via their pockets and falling share prices. I thank my lucky stars that I bought from a small and elderly builder who built a small development with care and attention. I now feel guilty over `moaning` about the buried rubble. stones and render
Another angle might be to go on financial websites wrt gallifordtry

Keep at it, telling your story, shares will fall as people start to hedge rather than buy shares. The only way they might listen is if their profits are hit hard. Buy some shares and get yourself to shareholder meetings and cause a fuss, take flyers detailing the faults, the press will listen because it is a story0 -

Was that a PM to me? Sorry - I didn't read it as your PM was like most of your posts here; lengthy.
I sympathise with your situation but I have neither the time nor desire to read War and Peace on a forum.0 -
Thats nice, do you work for Linden Homes part time?
You asked for an answer, I gave you one, and you can not even be bothered to read it?
If you can somehow compress 6 years of hell into a short synopsis, and trying to assist others to avoid the same shortfall, feel free0 -

So you ask a question the OP has already answered and he does you the courtesy of PMing you the answer again. You then refuse to open the pm incase it is too long for you.
What a peculiar person you are. Perhaps stick to Twitter?0 -
In Doams defence, the first post is far too long and detailed, and it will put off a lot of people helping. If the OP is consistently using that style of writing to everyone (random PMs, councillors, ombudsman etc), it wont help their cause.
That said sounds like a nightmare and I hope these guys dont get away with it.0 -
Have you considered a GOFUNDME page?
Perhaps identifying who you are on the website with your home address might help and media promotion also.
Donations could come from other new build victims who are seeking a legal precedent, members of the public in general and you might a get lucky and attract a 'high net worth individual'.
Yes, we all walk alone in life. Never trust any workman or company. Watch them like a hawk. Take nothing for granted. Question everything.
The UK is the SCAM capital of the world. It's dog eat dog. Nobody cares about anyone else. All standards of decency, morals, empathy for strangers died a generation ago.
Good luck
Utter rubbish.
You look for something, you'll always find it.
Better to look for the positive than the people you describe. Bad stuff does happen but in the main, if you
go in with positivity and look for it in other people, you'll come out with it too.
It's a terrible shame that you have less rights with a new build than with a high street shirt. I understand caveat emptor with older house, but new ones!?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Avoid over-priced new-build at Brexit time and any other time.0
