OS party outfit.

Does anyone have any suggestions for an outfit for my daughter for a party she has been invited to.

Miss Twit is 14 and not a girly girl.
She wears a lot of black and eye make up á la Amy Winehouse.

The party theme is Nursery/Fairy tale characters

Last year, the theme was Barbie and Ken, she went as Punk Barbie....one of the lads went as Pimp Ken, he had borrowed a long fur coat off his mum and had bling and shades on.

We had thought of Puss in boots.....(thigh high boots) if I can find a cheap pair.

So ideas please...the wackier the better.

    I suggested a spider.....that didn't go down too well.

She will wear other colours, we just seem to have loads of black t-shirts....lots of band ones.

Not strictly a fairy story but what about Cruella Devilla, or the wicked stepmother from Snow White.

cruella - thats a good one joannasmum!
  • I love the Cruella idea!

How about the snow queen from Lion, Witch and Wardrobe? Or my favourite witch - the Wicked Witch of the West from Wizard of Oz?

Why not add a twist by 'modernising' a goody-goody character - add 'attitude'.
    - 'Mary, Mary, Quite contrary' a la Charlie Dimmock?
    - Roald Dahl's Little Red Riding Hood who shot the wolf and made him into a wolfskin coat? Try 'Revolting Rhymes' for other ideas.
