Yes, we're renting separate rooms, ones under his name and the other is mine.
He has a license, its in full view on the inside of the door.
Clearly states 5 households, with no more than 5 people.
We have shared access to the kitchen, shower and toilet and have our own sink in each room.
I mentioned about me kicking them out, for if I did something and they were forced to move out because of me reporting the situation.
I know I can't kick anyone out myself.
What I was trying to get out of posting my situation was to gauge others opinions, and see what they thought.
I don't want to be 'that guy' but with how long its been going on for, I may have to be.
I may sound like I'm being silly in my posts over the whole thing but I am trying to explain it the best I can.

Contact the local council and report the lanlord, they can keep your details private. Your landlord is clearly breaching the rules and ripping you all off.
Do not tell anybody in the house what you have done to resolve the situation. Try and find a non HMO to live in.0
