The Next PPI

As compensation for the PPI scandal is about to come to an end, speculation turns to what the 'next PPI' might be.

I am going for Leasehold claims or PCP claims.

What's your guess?

I reckon something around pensions, and private companies persuading people to opt out of company schemes or take their company pension to a third party.

Then I suspect in a couple of decades it will be people who have been allowed to cash in their pension pots early and suddenly discovering their private pension now doesn't even pay their phone bill every month.

The PPI scalpers were refocusing on pensions some time ago.

Motor legal protection. Useful but massively over-priced for what it is.

When my insurance is up for renewal, I will be cancelling the legal cover and going with an independent provider.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

Eh? Claims about endowments have (almost wholly) been and gone some time ago, and interest-only mortgages (mostly) with them, to the extent that anybody was disadvantaged by them.
