Claiming PPI for an unenforceable credit card account

Hi, I had a barclaycard in the late 1990's and had paid on time for 12 years before I defaulted. The debt was sold to a debt collection agency in early 2010s, they took me to court and the judge declared the debt unenforceable.
Im sure there was PPI on the original card. Considering the circumstances, can I still claim?
thanks for any help.

No point.....unenforcable doesn't mean the debt can't be offset.0

Yes you can complain but Barclaycard wont need to pay you a penny as they can offset it against the debt.
Being made unenforceable does not mean the debt goes away. It means they cannot use the courts to come after you for the debt. However, the FCA allows PPi redress to be set off against the debt even though its unenforceable. Quite logical really as you didnt pay the PPI so why should you get the refund0 -
