How much money does one need to make a living out of being a landlord?
To start with? To build a property portfolio?
About £30 and you'll be worth millions before you know it.
Great scheme but I have some Egyptian lottery tickets that will give you more. Just send me the cash and I'll let you know when you win:beer:Your life is too short to be unhappy 5 days a week in exchange for 2 days of freedom!0 -
He purchased the house next door for £200k in 2015. Landlord has owned this house before 2015, but his houses on the street aren’t showing on Rightmove.
Apart from putting in a new bathroom and kitchen extension, nothing has been modified. So an extra £50k?
Not sure what there isn’t to believe?
Old live in landlord was getting £1700k a month in rent for a £280k house. She could have rented an extra room as she had the space.0 -

Are these your only funds? if so you wont be able to retire to be a fulltime landlord yet.
Of course this is notwithstanding your apparent complete lack of understanding of taxes etc and unwillingness to do any research...0
