"No claims bonus"?

I have 14 years driving experience but have never had an insurance policy in my own name (I was always a named driver, trying to save the environment by only having one car between us :wall:). I have never had an accident, nor has there has never been a claim on any insurance policy I have been named on. Can I count these 14 years towards a "no claims bonus" or is it worth arguing that I deserve a discount (on the currently quoted £500 (and I'm in my 30s)). Thanks.

Unless the insurer does named driver discount, It won't count, but your 5 years no accident will count in your favour"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Ask the company your a named driver on. My wife's insurer gave me maximum NCD when I opted out of the company car scheme.0
