The op says "around" £200. £200 isn't the exact figure. It could be less (or indeed more). £150 and £200 are "around" the same amount.

ETA The Supreme Court described £60 and £100 as "in the same ballpark" so there is actually legal precedent for this view

That’s great to know, have to tell the staff that are earning £8.21 per hour there earnings are in the same ballpark as someone on £11 per hour
  • Morning,

They're two different pairs of Dre beats headphones. I spent £200 roughly on a pair of beats solo and got a pair of powerbeats 3 for free. The powerbeats are the ones with the fault and looking at Google it seems they're not fit for purpose. I use them in the gym and it appears they aren't sweat proof as described so the review page is full of people who have had multiple pairs that have developed faults, there was also BBC articles about a lawsuit.

If I have to get them replaced under warranty then I will but when people are having multiple pairs break then I'm gonna be left in six months with an expensive piece of string.

Ideally I would just return the pair I paid for and the free ones but Argos have said I can't return them because there's nothing wrong with them, this is why I wanted to try hear because it seems that might not be the case.
