Armtrac PCN??

Hi all,

hopefully someone here can give some guidance as I can't see it covered in any of the other posts I've seen.

Over the weekend my van received a PCN whilst parked in an Armtrac managed carpark.

There was a valid ticket displayed in the windscreen. I believe the ticket was issued as its a motorhome and the carpark sign stated no over night parking for campervans.

The ticket was bought the day before and was valid until 10am the following day. The van left the carpark over night but returned at about 6am to go for an early surf before heading home. On return to the vehicle there was a ticket issued with the reason stated as "unauthorised parking."

I'm guessing it was a mistake to contact Armtrac through their appeal email as the response received asked for the name and address of the keeper and reading the newbies post says they'll just reject the appeal anyway.

The keeper is now unsure what to do about it as they are in the process of buying a new house so don't want any outcomes to effect that. Do they just suck it up and pay or wait it out and see if a letter arrives and respond with the template letter?

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

wait for the NTK to arrive , then appeal with the blue text template

then sit on their hands for up to 6 years in case Armtrac try court, where the keeper can defend themselves to a judge

if the keeper loses in court , pay the judgment in full within one month to avoid a CCJ trashing their credit rating for 6 years

its not paying a CCJ promptly or at all that does the damage

all covered in that newbies sticky thread

You won't know the answer to that for 6 years

Settle in for the long haul
