Just to be clear, if I complete just a PPI check to see whether or not I had PPI now, either directly with the bank or via Resolver, and it takes 6 weeks to receive a response, I would still be eligible to submit a complain in 6 weeks time after I’ve received the result of the check? I agree with you ch340. I posted about this using Barclays as an example, see my earlier post 'Check vs Complaint on Barclays website'.

All things considered, looking at the Barclays website doesn't fill me with any confidence that a 'check' will be converted to a 'complaint' later, so I went straight to the complaint stage.
