New build - insurance/warranty company gone bust

Hi,
As a developer where do I stand in regards that I bought Structural warranty's through CRL/ALPHA.
I sold two houses in 2017 & wondered following Alpha going into liquidation am I still liable to provide new cover for the owners who have received a small cheque from FSCS.
I obviously took out the cover in good faith.0 -
Hello, I am looking for some advice.
four years ago I had a new build property built by a limited company. In the contract the builder supplied it stayed and we paid for a NHBC warranty. I have never had to use this before but due to moving homes I need this warranty, I contacted the builder asking for a copy and he let me know his company has dissolved and he will not be supplying one and never actually had this inspection carried out. Can anyone advise me on what to do next?
Thank you.0 -
I would suggest you start your own thread, as your query is completely different from the thread you've tagged your post onto. Might be better in the house buying forum anyway.kirstyjohnst said:Can anyone advise me on what to do next?1
