CFA piling costs v. ordinary piling

We need 8 piles under our new extension. The test drilling/soil survey showed that there was water trapped by clay. CFA piling was prescribed by the structural engineer and agreed by the architect.
The building company has contracted-out the specialist work, and a price written into our contract. The piling company are moaning now that they are on site about the amount of 'muck away' and have put the price up by £10K. We reluctantly agreed to this.
The piles are all done now, but only one of them needed the CFA treatment, the other seven were dry and could be piled as normal.
Do we have scope to claim a reduction in price for the job, or is it considered a done deal?
