Where do we go now

We have received our second letter back from Barclays bank regarding the unfair bank charges that my husband incurred amounting to over £5000. THey hve said that they will not deal with this request to have the money returned before Januarydue to the court decision. What is our next step? Should we take them to court? We would welcome any advice and success stories from people that have got their money back.

As all claims are effectivley 'on hold', I think you are better-off waiting. They seem to have an idea that the OFT case will have been resolved by January.
In my case, I printed-off 2 copies of the claim letter, one for me & one for a friend, however, before either of us could get it in the post, up stepped the good old OFT.

Just out of curiosity though, I wonder if anyone caught-up in the 'claim-freeze' could claim-back any interest earned on the claim-back amount from the OFT (well, the banks are not responsible for freezing the claims, so why should they have to pay-out the interest).
