I signed up with the claims guys (instead of doing it myself) - stupid I know!
I filled in the form last week and submitted it but didn’t get any confirmation or anything via email. I emailed to ask if it had been submitted and no reply and when I call I’m in such a long queue I lose the will to stay on hold.
Anyway I finally 2 days before the deadline found my old credit agreements and proof I had ppi on three store cards.
It would be a simple matter of using Santander’s online form. However if the claims guys have put a claim in for me - have no way of knowing if they have, will my doing this myself as well affect me in anyway? I don’t want to put my claim in if they have - would that be dodgy?
Just want to keep myself right legally.

Contact Santander and ask them if they have received a complaint. If they haven’t, make one on your own and if they have (and you’re within your cooling off period with the CMC) you can advise them that you’re revoking their authorisation. You’ll then need to let claims guys know somehow (an email might do it, others will be able to advise on that)helpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -
I'd complain personally as well, nothing dodgy about that at all. If there are two complaints regarding the same product the bank will simply merge them into one.0
