Could be something to do with only being 23 years old and supposedly being £228k in debt maybe?

I'm 24 years old now, the debt remaining is £28,000 in unsecured debt, which is in arrears, paying of slowly and steadily. That's why in my thread starting post mentioned making a new credit file. I sold off my property to pay off my debts, so only have a small amount left now. Which could be paid off within 1 year. I want to keep increasing my income but need good credit to get into property, which is the issue I'm having.Emergency Fund: 0/1,000

In that case - time is what's needed.
You need to wait.0 -
What do you think of credit ladder? It's a service that require read-only access to my bank account and records that I pay my rent on time.
I know you dislike loqbox, but credit ladder might show history allowing credit reference agencies to predict future behaviourEmergency Fund: 0/1,000

Again, don't do it.

Pay off your debt arrears and wait maybe 6 months to a year before applying for a sub-prime credit card.0

Have you tired Vanquis?
They actually gave me a card while I was still in a DMP, neither Aqua or Capital One would.0 -

Will try it next month, as I dont want any more searches on my credit as it might make me look desperate. Thanks for the suggestionEmergency Fund: 0/1,000

I would give it at least 3 months since your last credit search, 6 months is even better if you can wait that long.0
