I wish each stall had to display a small sign, indicating what sort of seller they are.
T: Traders, businesses.
P: Personal household clearances, house moves, clearing parents' house out
C: Charity stall.
Unless you're a regular and can spot the same stuff/people every week, it's difficult knowing who or what you're dealing with.
Nothing against buying from a dealer, but I'd like to know, as I approach, whether they are a business, private individuals or raising funds for charity.0 -
I enjoy doing car boot sales! Normally where i am you have people with torches going round peoples cars at like 6am hoping to find bargains and then theres the Romanians around here that come to every stall no matter what it is and all they say is 20p 20p you take 20p LOL
But apart from that its enjoyable and helps declutter and make some ££

I enjoy going to a car boot - a nice stroll outside and you might pick up something useful.
I do expect things to be cheaply priced, however, and generally will have a haggle.0 -

It's quite easy to tell just by looking at what they're selling and what they're driving (i.e. a van/lorry will indicate trader / clearance).
Traders have loads of the same items.
As for charities, most seem to have a sign / banner to indicate this.
One thing that I do keep hearing about is stuff getting stolen from sellers.0
