Mortgage Broker no longer trading

In July 2003 I arranged a mortgage with Alliance & Leicester through a mortgage broker who went out of business in 2011.
I paid a lump sum of £1550 for accident, sickness & unemployment premium that was added to my mortgage. The broker told me this would form part of the overall loan and he didn't say it was optional.
I have the paperwork and this shows the payment was made to Adminicle Ltd
I understand this company was eventually taken over by Assurant
Looking at other threads I know this was pre Reg so neither the FSCS of FOS will deal with it.
I've also read that being charged a lump sum is good grounds for a complaint.
Are there any options open to me

With no one to complain to and it being pre-regulation, the answer is no.

I'm afraid you were missold. 99% of single premium MPPI is a missale. However, as it is pre-regulation, even if the broker still existed, they would not need to consider your complaint.

This is game over.
