starting casual work while on universal credit

hi all,
just got offered training this week for casual work with an employer, wondering how much this will affect, if at all, my universal credit. its not solid hours as they hand out shifts onli e and we need to claim them so I'm unaware of how often I will be working (I'll be taking anything I can get my hands on lol). It's all done through the book so hmrc will hear about it but I don't really know how it will affect universal credit.

In the normal way your UC will be reduced by 63% of your earnings. However if you have LCW or a child element in your UC award you will be ives a a Work Allowance which means some of your earnings are ignored.

It sounds basically to be a zero hours contract. Nothing unusual there and UC should be able to handle it.0
