Weekly, monthly and other multiple end date comps

[STRIKE]Older compers[/STRIKE] Those who have been here a while will remember use of lists on the regs board being the the norm. We had them for monthly and weekly. However, someone had to maintain these threads...
After much throwing around of ideas, debate, pros & cons etc and even a vote, it was decided that monthly and weekly comps be posted each new week / month with the end date being the next draw. However I'm noticing a few slipping back to 'Bump each new week.' style of posting which is a real PITA for end date compers. I know not everyone end date comps, but there are many who do, hence the need previously for a list in regs if folk insist on only posting overall end date.
As there's no link for weeklies in regs, please could posters return to posting as was agreed?

All weekly and monthly entry comps should be posted as individual comps with an end date for the current week/month. They should then be reposted (by anyone) as a new comp for the following week/month.

If you see a weekly/monthly comp posted incorrectly with the overall promotion end date, then ask for the end date to be changed - in the first instance by sending a PM to the poster, and if this doesn't work, by sending a PM to one of the board guides.

Is this in the New Compers please read sticky? if not might be worth seeing if Glad can add it. Not all new compers are reading it but most are pointing them in that direction so it may help.

It’s not just new compers though, others need reminded too.

Like in this thread the op has changed the end date once because she was asked to, this is now a weekly thread that will be missed by many end date compers because they won’t see it until the last week. Possibly also be missed each week by new posted comps as unless it’s bumoed each week it won’t show as a new thread.
