Brick Tinting Services, Any Good?

Having some problems with bricks on the side of the house crumbling and blowing out however, the installation of a strip drain has stopped the problem getting any worse.
I would love to clean up the mess of the damage, the house was built before they started using engineering bricks for the bottom.
I have been turned down by 2 bricklayers for pointing are repairing the wall as it is a very patchy messy job they won't go near it so i'm having to look elsewhere.
I have seen brick tinting being advertised by sealant companies and the results look great but wanted to see if this might be an option!

Brick tinting probably won't work in your case as the bricks are spalled and need replacing. Have you got a photo?0

Brick tinting is only the application of a stain to give the bricks a slightly different colour. It will not build up the surface nor repair any damage. It needs to be done properly. Cut out the old bricks, replace with good quality matching ones, or reclaimed bricks. The mortar used should be sympathetic to the building - i.e. If it is an old property built before the widespread use of cement became fashionable, use a lime mortar. Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -

It goes along the bottom for 25ft but no brick layer wants anything to do with this issue, must be a very messy affair!Enjoy everyday like it's your last!0 -

That's definitely not a brick tinting job! It's way beyond that, as freebear said with any photos at all.
You have to replace those bricks.
Bricklayers are hard to come by. As a country, we haven't invested in skills training and so we have not very many bricklayers who are heavily in demand as a result of a lack of supply.
As stuart says, it isn't a hard job, but that isn't screaming profit at someone who can afford to choose jobs.
Money talks, as does flexibility. Perhaps a good person could drop someone onto the job as something to fill the occasional gap. It doesn't have to be done in a day.
It's hard for us to pull people to build relatively easy walls. I couldn't get someone to do that for you
The bricks should really have been replaced before the drain, but it isn't the end of the world.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
