Netherlands Schengen visa

To complete the title: "Netherlands Schengen visa for a Russian citizen with UK residency"
As some of you may or may not know, depending on whether you frequent other boards on here, such as the Arms and Discussion Time, my wife (Mrs MothballsWallet, or Mrs MbW for short) is Russian but has Further Leave to Remain in the UK and should (fingers crossed) get her Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK granted in the next month or so.
We'd like to go to Holland (Netherlands) next year, most likely in Spring to see the Keukenhoff, Elfteling, Madurodam and some other places, including Anne Frank's House and the Diamond Museum.
We're waiting until after her UK visa is extended and Brexit is (hopefully) done before we go.
I know she can get a Schengen visa, but does anyone have any useful resources they can share please? I'll also contact the Netherlands Embassy/Consulate for information.
