HDD/DVD Recorder & Sky problem

I had an old skybox, a HDD/DVD recorder and a Magic Eye all running well, though the skybox was starting to freeze on ocassions.

I managed to get a half price deal on Sky for 12 mths, with a new skybox thrown in.

Since the new box has been fitted I have been unable to record properly on the HDD/DVD recorder. The Sky man seems to have connected everything up ok, but now whenever I record a program off tv I am unable to use Sky with the Sky remote. I can watch the analogue programs but when I press "Sky" the recorded channel comes on and shows the recording icon on the screen.

By using AV2 on the TV remote I can get Sky back working whilst recording but it's a bit of pain in the butt having to find & use 3 remotes each time I need to record.

I 'm sure it's easy to resolve but it's beaten me. Has anyone any ideas?

Ps The magic eye won't work either - though I tried to resolve this in a previous thread without any luck.

Make sure SCART Switching is turned on on the new Sky Box. It's in Services, Settings somewhere.
