Hi
Today I have received an email from Economy energy (their administrator) that I owe them £280. There is no bill and all previous bills and payment information is removed from MyAccount. The amount they have requested is much more than my monthly spend before and after Economy energy has closed down business. I am also not able to contact the administrator by the phone number they have given. What should I do in this situation?
Thanks.

I was paying Economy energy £77 per month in average. I paid this amount upto November 2018. Then they didn't take any payment in December 2018 and January 2019. From January 2019 the account was transferred to OVO energy by ofgem as Economy emergy has gone bust. Now the administrator of Economy energy has sent me a due amount notice of £280 for 2 months. No bill or statement. This is much higher than my average monthly amount I was paying them. All my previous statements and payment information were removed from my account.I have sent email to the administrator but they haven't replied. What should I do in this situation?0

Your DD has possibly little to do with your actual usage.
What were your EE start readings and final readings ?
