Question re Claim with Ombudsman

Hi All
I used resolver to put in a claim to my bank back in early April, the bank sent their initial standard response and I heard nothing else for 8 weeks so I then referred it to the ombudsman in July but have heard nothing since from them either so my question is as its the last few days would it be advantageous to put in claim again via the bank directly or can I not do that now because I've already escalated it to the ombudsman?

Your complaint has been lodged and acknowledged ...doing it again is only going to clog up an already struggling system to no advantage to you.0 -
Thanks Foxtrotoscar, I thought that might be the case0

If you used resolver in july, re submit to the mbudsman because resolver has a habit of losing things. you should have at least had had an acknowledgement from the FOS|Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

Hi -taff I understand what you are saying but I have spoken to the ombudsman directly and filled in their forms which they have received, I guess the delay is because of the volume of complaints they are dealing with.0
