Yes, email the Birmingham court.
Yes, you can include them as a witness to prove you were not lying. Good for the counterclaim3 -
Search ... the email address for the court in Birmingham is probably available to find.
(Apologies if that's not what you were asking).

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thanks, i wasn't sure if it could be emailed because there was no mention in the letter the court sent. I have found it now and will email across.
In the DQ, the section around witnesses, do you guys think it would add value to the case to put the driver down as a witness? So the driver can confirm he was driving.0 -
I've already said YES
At least they can provide a WS even if they dont turn up. Better if theyre at the hearing. So number of witnesses would be 1.3 -

The question about number of witnesses is only so they can allocate a room big enough to hear the case.1

I have just called the court and couldn't really get much from the guy i spoke to he just kept asking me to send a email.
He did say that the claimant received the counter claim on 4th feb and usually they have 14days to respond, but then he said just send an email to be sure. He didn't siund too sure about anything0 -
14 dsays is their deadline, same as yours when you got the N1. They cant extend this.
No, the number of witnesses is 1. You are always present.2 -
As I think I told you by pm, they have14 days plus two for service (not five days for service like a court claim) to get a defence to the cc in.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
