Central heating clock not working

Hi All,
I’ve recently moved into my grandparents empty house for a few years to save for a mortgage deposit.
On moving in i noticed they have an old style central heating clock, which doesn’t keep time, it doesn’t move at all. The heating does work in constant mode but not timed.
I am going to replace it however wondered if it is possible to replace with a digital clock with a separate hot water/central heating function.
Any help appreciated

It's a relatively simple job for an electrician. You need someone to check that you have a functioning 3-way valve on the system to ensure CH and hot water can work independently."Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0

Thanks for the help 🙂 I’ll try to find someone to have a look at it for me.0
