in Credit cards
Just been offered (unsolicited) 0% on BTs until Nov 08 (no BT fee) then reverts to (currently) 17.95%
Or 3.9% for life of balance. No BT fee.
Looks too good to be true- or is it that the people who set the markets have sussed out that this time next year, interest rates will have moved south?

I'm certainly no expert on this, but haven't you got to be careful about transferring a balance onto a card on which you already have a balance? I mean, say you're paying 16% on your current balance, and then transfer another balance onto the card at 3.9% LOB, couldn't you end up waiting until your LOB was paid off before the higher interest balance could be paid?£2 coin savers club: £1.49

Hello JollyNolly,i`ve wondered about that sort of scenario as this would depend on the allocation of payments made to the card with the possibility of "trapping" the larger interest bearing portion.
The way around this of course (if you can shuffle) is transfer the existing balance to another card then transfer all of it back to the LOB card thus getting all of the debt at the lob rate
