Halfords beat any UK mail order price of you have a trade card. Bought a Yuasa last year £115 from £175 big difference.
Dependant upon car most nowadays you leave door open whilst disconnecting or alarm goes off. Reconnect door ajar.
Will need to keep power attached with a remote battery whilst disconnecting or will lose radio code etc. Just a simple 12v battery plugged in to any cigar lighter socket.
Some cars need the battery programming and setting up with amperage, charge rate etc like certain BMW last 17 years or more.0
