missed CPP, don't know if PPI covers?

I've discovered evidence of a Barclays Cardholder Protection Policy that was in place on several of my cards in early 2000's. I failed to claim for CPP several years ago.
I've put in a separate PPI claim to Barclays, which may also be valid in its own right, but have I missed the opportunity to claim for CPP?
