They need to extend the ppi deadline if only just for those claiming on behalf of deceased relatives as it wasn't made clear that people were able to do this. :A

I agree as it seems you can't do online, like the others unless someone is going to tell me there is a link !!!0

You both still have time to simply write a letter. Even if the Bank require more information, the complaint will be logged and so you won't have missed the deadline.
There will be no extension of the PPI complaint deadline, so make haste.0 -

50 years.
If there's been a fault, there's been a fault.
Not everybody is aware/able to think about it, think it might be them, look into it, for a variety of reasons (other distressing life situations going on can take years to pass).
Just saying .... if they've got somebody's money why should that have a time limit on it. It's not as if the organisations are a little fella round the corner that would never be in a position to dig deep and hand back money from X years ago.0 -
The type of PPI thats mostly complained about now stopped selling ten years ago. If someone doesn't have records after a relative died, the bank or whoever, in question, is unlikely to have them too. At some point, all records will have been destroyed, so complaining then is totally pointless.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

I've only just checked mine. I've moved about a lot, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 eight addresses, 2014. Head's all over the place.
Did it "just to see" and got responses this week of "No. Nothing found". Not everybody's head's in the right place, fear of the process, fear they did something wrong years ago, fear they didn't get round to it sooner, self doubt, recrimination. Not everybody's life's in a "happy place".0 -

You're 12 years on MSE. MSE promoting 'claiming' in most of that time and you left it to recently to check...and now you want the 29/8 extended until the 12th of never....?0
