Do I need to pay postage?

Hi I bought a laptop charger from the laptop charger Factory in May. This has now broke and I've used it maybe half a dozen times. I've contacted them and they are willing to send a replacement as its under warranty but are refusing to send unless I pay postage on this new one being sent out? Is this right? As I don't really see why I should be out of pocket again for something that broke through no fault of my own.

Warranties can have whatever caveats they want. They could say you need to write a letter to them in pink felt tip to get a replacement .

You could try claiming under your stat rights but for the cost of postage it’s not worth the hassle, in my opinion.

You've paid cheap for something worth even less. You'll not get your money back. Throw it away and buy a decent quality charger from a trustworthy seller.

I agree. Using cheap knock-off chargers risks damaging your laptop. Buy a proper one compatible with your laptop.
