Halifax credit card and egg relationship

I have a Halifax Credit Card that I'm trying to reclaim PPI.

However, I'm sure this was originally an Egg credit card that I started it in 2006. I'm sure it had a lifetime balancetrasfer with a very low rate of interest. approx 7%

Can anyone verify if any of thier Egg cards was taken over by Halifax, also. Or maybe Im wrong its always been a halifax.

I'm trying to complete my halifax PPI online and I want to make everything I say is acurate.

I spotted this when I diong a bit of diging.;)

I thought when egg first arrived, there was a few finance companies providing invesment to egg, including Halifax.

I thought maybe the some of the accounts back in.

But I bow to your superier knowledge. LOL:cool:
