Hi
I got PCN for parking motorbike in Bold St about a month ago. I appealed against the decision on the following grounds:
1- I paid the parking ticket by phone
2- there wasnt any sign on "MOTORCYCLE NOT PERMITTED" on the road
3- I parked in the parking slot




They refused based on the following grounds:

You have stated in your informal challenge that you wish to appeal against the
above Penalty Charge Notice as you parked your motorcycle and paid for
your parking session via phone and pay. You further state that there were no
signs or road markings to advise that parking of motorcycles were not
permitted.

The issuing Civil Enforcement Officer (CEO) states that your motorcycle was
parked in a pay & display bay in Bold Street. The motorcycle was noted to be
parked 1 metre from the pay and display sign. The vehicle was noted to be
the wrong class of vehicle for the pay & display bay in which it was parked.

Based on the pictures taken by CEO there is no display sign 1 meter away from my bike!


What should I do? Shall make formal appeal?
