Debt sold to another company

Forgive me if this question has been answered already. I've looked for a similar thread at no avail.
My two Questions:
1. I am on a DMP and various of my accounts have been sold to other companies. Who do I claim PPI from, the original company, the company who bought the account, or both.
2. I am using the PPI Reclaim tool, which sends an e-mail letter on your behalf. It is recomended, seeing the impending approaching deadline, that you follow up with the company whether they have received your claim. Does anyone know how to proceed? (what department, telephones, etc?)
Thank you

You complain to the company that sold it to you.
Don’t bother using Resolver or any other third party tools - go direct to the lender and you won’t have to then contact them to check they have your complaint.
Don’t expect to see any/much redress as it’ll likely be consumed by the DMP’s.

it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -
Thank you for your response. I'm glad the claims go to the original lender, otherwise, it'd have been a very wild goose chase in my case. Be well, RBB0
