Evans store card, and catalogues

1. I read recently that the Evans store card used to add PPI without asking. I had one about 20 years ago, I took it out when I was unemployed, but knew I had a job starting in a few weeks. I wouldn't have agreed to the PPI if I'd known about it.
I did notice the interest rate was ridiculously high, and made sure to pay it off as quickly as possible.
2. I've had a Barclaycard a long time, and paid interest on in it a few times, but I don't think there was ever any insurance, is it worth checking?
3. Catalogues. I've shopped through loads of them when I was younger. I actually do know I paid about £2 on PPI on one, they talked me into it over the phone and took the first payment, then when they sent me the details I read through it and realized it was unsuitable as I was unemployed at the time, and so cancelled.
I don't remember which catalogue this was, so how do I trace them, and would there be any point claiming a few pounds - would there be compensation?

OK, I found out that the Evans store card has to be reclaimed through Santander, I don't want to use their online form because you have to enter bank details and I don't have a secure computer, and I can't print their form because I don't have a printer.
Can I just answer all the questions on a piece of paper and hand it in at a branch?0 -

Send it to the correct address via regular mail. If you don't have a printer, go to your local library or the Citizen's Advice Bureau.
To be blunt, though, it doesn't sound like you have a valid complaint. PPI was not just "added" and the interest rate being "ridiculously high" is irrelevant,0 -

If you think you have a genuine complaint complete it on line take "screen shots" to save on your laptop/computer for proof of the complaint before the deadline!:)0 -

The complaint needs to be received by Thursday and the OP does not want to complain online.
The only real alternative is Royal Mail, though some banks will accept complaints via telephone...0 -

if you wait for Royal mail at this late stage unless you pay a premium it is unlikely that it will get there on time! and with a phone call there is room for the provider not to accept it in time and there is no proof you have done so!.
Regardless, if the OP didn't do anything about this yesterday, it is now getting past the point of no return...0
