    Will Lloyds and Halifax verify through my mobile here, which I have to say I seldom use but obviously will turn on if online purchasing something usually air tickets. (quite a big cost item)

    About a week or so ago I specifically asked Nationwide whether the option to use a card reader with debit card purchased would also apply to credit cards and they said:

    "This doesn't include credit cards, those payments will continue as normal."

    By "normal" I assume they mean with codes sent by text message.

    This seems to imply (see 'how does it work') that barclaycard will allow card reader (PIN Sentry) for Barclaycard authentication:

    I have Brclaycard, NatWest, Tesco and Nationwide credit cards and none of them require authentication via mobile phone.. yet...

    I agree, but when it comes will Barclaycard allow authentication by pin sentry.
