  • I too have this flooring, but it isn't down yet so I will be curious to see what's advised here. I assume that any kitchen floor/cleaning product will be safe as I would expect it to advise if this was not the case. Woby tide has this flooring it may be worth sending him a private email - we could find out what he washes his floors with!

Can I ask, how did you find the fitting of the floor, I still cant decide whether to do mine myself or get someone in? Ive been quoted £200 for fitting, which seems a lot to me.

I did four rooms myself last year with just the odd bit of bloke-help. Once you get the knack of it it's not too difficult. Just take your time and don't rush it. Probably have a few aches and pains and bruises in the end but think of all that money saved ;D

cleaning floors? let me ask the wife! ;)

we just use one of those swiffer things that came out a while back for laminate/wood floor, we tend to use a 'wet' version every now and again think it's 'Pledge' as in furniture polish maker, seems to work fine, anything thats a bit stubborn just rub with a cloth first
  • Thanks Allexie, I think I will give it a whirl as you say I can get a bloke in for the fiddly bits

  • I have found that the best way to clean most clic / Loc flooring is a quick sweep with a soft floor brush to pick up the grit , then a gentle rub over with a well rung out mop .

    hope this helps :)
