Been a customer of the above for years with no problems.
Five weeks ago we lost our land line dial tone...Tried calling home just rings 'at the exchange'...reported it to POB.
Their response? Via instant messaging?
It's your handset...Oh no it isn't... their response?
"I'm not trained to do anymore, you have to call....
45 minutes of mobile account minutes later whilst I'm being told how busy they are and how valuable my call was.....I give up.
I emailed them...had to use mobile data , the land line wifi was so poor that I couldn't send by using it.
I explained the situation, gave number, address, account number...
Their response?
From an inbox that cannot accept replies, they tell that I hadn't supplied enough data to enable them to investigate.... complete cobblers.... They then suggest that I should reply with the extra detail... How? The inbox is labelled 'DONT REPLY'
In desperation changed supplier.. who could tell from their contact centre that the issue was at the box, sent an engineer in 48 hours. Fixed broken components on the telegraph pole.....
So Post Office Broadband wanted to charge £30 a month, for zero landline, for broadband internet running at 90% below service level and the service detailed above...
The Only department of post Office Broadband that interacts with customers is the debt recovery team, 4 phone calls, and two SMS messages , and that's just today..... for £30... pathetic....
To summarise... AVOID POST OFFICE BROADBAND. They are truly, truly rubbish....

It's just rebranded Talk Talk, so pretty much as expected.0

I had a similar problem with PO broadband which dragged on for 3 months, got in a loop of an engineer coming out and saying they couldn't find a problem, they were extremely rude and insulting to me, wrote to their complaints and eventually they did fix it, waived my 3 months fee (for virtually no service) and gave me compensation and then couldn't apologise enough... so it's back to normal now but I never did find out what the problem was.0

Obviously you send another email to whatever address you used in the first place with the required details.
Spitting your dummy out when I'm guessing you were still within minimum term only hurts you, you need to pay off whatever you owe by the sounds of it.0
