    Apparently my Chromebook has an AUE of August 2019. I'll let you know in 8 days whether anything happens.

    6 September, just had another Chrome OS update. I guess the "Auto Update Expiration" for my model isn't correct.

    Things must be getting really desperate in the Chromebook camp.

    Why buy cheap and nasty hardware when you can simply re-purpose any old laptop to run Chrome OS if that is what you want? A fool and his money are soon parted.
    So sad that the people who wasted their money on that nonsense, are constantly attempting to justify that it was money well spent.
    Paying Google to track them.

    Same with Lenovo tablets, factory reset them after 2 years and 3 months and they are bricked.
