Covering oil combi boiler

Hi all
Renovating a property which will have a floor mounted oil combi boiler.
Was planning to have it hidden in a tall kitchen unit. Any one done the same??
How much clearance either side and behind the boiler would I need for pipework and airflow etc...?
Boiler dimensions are H860 x W614 x D606
Engineer says they're unable to tell me until they physically install the boiler which seems a little odd to me.
Thanks!

The installation manual of the proposed boiler (which will be available online) will tell you. The Worcester Bosch we have fitted in houses at work does not require much extra space but the work top above has to be removable for servicing.
Have you considered an external boiler ? Oil boilers do smell a bit.0 -
Hubby built an airing cupboard around our Worcester Greenstar Heatslave 25/32 (oil boiler) and it works a treat. Can't say I've noticed any smell.0

Have you ever had it serviced?Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0
