The thread will remain open, but will slide rapidly down the forum list without any further posts. We deal with around 100 threads a day, so it will slide quickly.
But at any time you can bring it back to the top with any update/post you make. To find your thread if it really has disappeared from the main pages, simply click on your username and you'll find links there to any thread you've opened and any post you've made.
Definitely do not start a fresh thread about the same incident.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
