Brand "New" laptop 1 month later no laptop. No money

To try and help, many laptops have a heatsink design that is a metal bar with "fins" on it, the fan pieces are often called "wings" but I'm not sure which part OP is talking about.
My laptop has copper bars from the CPU and GPU and these end up at "fins" at the edge of the laptop. (Apologies if the image below is large - the size looks OK in my browser).

Water cooled laptop and pc. All have radiator. Never seen any laptop or PC without radiator aka heatsink. Only some extreme cases while cooled with liquid nitrogen.
No such thing as generic battery. It's HP manufacturing they use all hp parts. They don't replace anything. It's not made of salvaged scrap. Its like you would say. BMW replace seats of newly manufactured with Thier own seats. Because they dont use generic
HDD or SSD they can copy your files. They don't care much about privacy. If they assumed I misused laptop they would check ssd and HDD anyway regardless. But all this topic is irrelevant because I need my files back for my work.
All this is irrelevant.
I didn't ask about refund or replacement law. I ask two questions. It's related. But for a sake of time. You can assume I did my part. And my conclusion is correct. Otherwise topic will never end0 -
The reason why the battery has that label is because hp want you to use there own battery rather than a generic one.
One of the first things they would do to your machine is wipe the hdd (gdpr rules) so it wa pointless doing it yourself
This is really bad advice
You are not considering the scenario if the laptop gets compromised/ lost or stolen in transit.
Anyone with half a brain cell would wipe before handing over to a minimum wage agency worker subcontracted by a courier0 -

1. Maybe, or maybe not, depending on the precise circumstances.

Finally! I can count on the fingers of a one-fingered hand how many people have referred to a PC heatsink as a radiator.0 -
The heatsink could be described as such as it does radiate heat .I use this heatsink on my PC .
