Studio PPI

I last had a email from studio regarding the ppi on my old account in June of this year, as follows

We write following recent communications regarding your complaint under the above reference number.



We are unfortunately, not in a position to be able to provide you with an outcome to our investigations therefore, we ask that you provide us with an additional period of time to reach a decision and issue our final response on the matter.



Should you not wish to await the outcome to our investigation we are obliged to inform you that, you now have the right to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service and you will need to do so within 6 months of the date of this email.


Ive not heard anymore, do I just wait for an update or do I have to do something before the deadline next week? Thank you
