Credit Card Re-Claiming

Can anyone tell me is it possible to re-claim the £12 reduced charges from C/C companies? Martin has stated that this is still an un-reasonable charge but I cant find any other info? Also, will Banks provide account details from closed accounts ie; my old account number as this was a joint account with an ex-partner.....
Thank you all in advance

Yes to both questions although I'm not sure if it makes a difference being a joint account.
Good luck.0 -
Can anyone advise as to wether it is possible to claim back the new £12 lower credit card fees? This is still an un-reasonable amount, as Martin states it only actually costs the bank a couple of pounds for any extra admin associated with going over their credit limit. Thank you in anticipation. kw:beer:Kev0

Yes you can reclaim them.Last year the OFT ruled that it will not investigate credit card default charges under £12. This does not mean that charges are fair simply because they are £12 or under. CLICK HERE for the official OFT webpage.
This £12 charge has successfully been challenged firstly by Bob Egerton of https://www.bankbuster.co.uk. CLICK HERE for the full story, and more recently by myself
