Monthly Budget Planner

What do people use to track their monthly budgets? The MSE planner seems good for a one off but what do people use to track their spending on a monthly basis. I’m looking for something to track my finances on. I have mac instead of windows for software suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Here's a bit of a review of budgeting apps. Not sure whether any of them run on Macs. https://www.which.co.uk/news/2019/08/seven-budgeting-apps-to-help-you-save-over-autumn-2019/
I use AceMoney for Windows myself0 -
Thanks, are there any spreadsheets people are aware of?0

Yes, AceMoney is, essentially, a spreadsheet. As is MSMoney but that is unlikely to run on Mac OS.Thanks, are there any spreadsheets people are aware of?
You can, of course, always hand-craft a spreadsheet for yourself but you will soon come to realise that this has serious shortfalls. If you want to download bank transactions and compare them with your budget, you'll not have a lot of fun with a home-made spreadsheet.0 -
Thanks, I do have a spreadsheet which I have created myself but don’t think it’s very effective so looking for a replacement or another option.0

Tracking is not budgeting.
Budget(the plan in advance) should be based on a minimum ilof a full year.
Once a proper budget is in place tracking is easy.0 -
