Ebico stated this error is within the "industry threshold" implying that a small value customer rip-off is permitted! Anyone else had this response and overturned it to receive a credit?
Had EXACTLY the same response from Together Energy over double charging by One Select when they went kaput! The difference is within tolerance so can't raise a dispute. The problem is that the customer service people DON'T understand the changeover tolerance rules.
I've been chasing since March - raised complaints then went to Ombudsman - have now received proposed resolution from Together which includes £50 compensation:) - as I was only arguing about ~£4, they should have sorted it out months ago:rotfl:0 -
