Advice My Nephew died last Friday and I am going out for the funeral Got flights ESTA all in order I need travel insurance for 14 nights I have got medical issues and also now 77. I just got a quote of £357 from AVIVA
Help would be appreciated If anyone has got any advice it would cut down my telephoning numbers of companies I realise this is USA and for two weeks plus I am now 77 etc Any pointing me in the right direction would be a great help I am devastated and slow in thinking etc as I have not had much sleep since Friday. The hardest think I had to do was talk to my Brother and advise him that by letting his son go was an ultimate act of love But is hard when he is in California and I am in the UK I didnt know at that stage his Mum has said yes. Sorry to burden you all with this Kieran was 44 years old Thanks Sue

Hi,
Sorry to hear of your loss.
You can do travel insurance through comparison sites, the big ones like moneysupermarket and comparethemarket, plus https://www.compareyourtravelinsurance.co.uk/
I can't recommend a company as I haven't had to claim but I used one of the comparison sites recently to get my travel insurance and I have medical conditions too. It's easy because you can easily see what they offer in terms of cover.Nil Illegitimi desperandum carborundum
