I work part time and this week we have our biggest event of the season on at work.
On my days off I get emails off my boss asking why certain things haven’t been done and saying that the ceo is not happy that this has not been done. Some times she will email asking about stuff that we have already discussed asking why it hasn’t been done or where I am on it.
When I go in to work I have my head down and I work hard I have been trying to get everything done. I update her every time I have worked my last day of the week what has been done and what hasn’t she always says fine.
She always used to say to me if you can’t get it done it’s fine just give it back to me and I will sort it. But just just recently she has started saying things like she cannot keep doing part of my job anymore it’s putting her further behind. I don’t ask her very often to do stuff that I couldn’t do. I have asked for examples and she changes the subject.
Anyway I haven’t been feeling well my chest was tightening up and I was feeling really tired and my whole body was hurting. On Sunday evening I was having chest tightenings these did settle. I went to the doctors on Monday and they sent me to A&E as I was having pains in my chest and becoming out of breath doing the simplest of things. I had various tests done and things came back inconclusive. The only thing that was flagged was my white blood count was low. The doctors told me to go home and rest. On Tuesday I went back to the doctors as the pain was worse and I was sent for more tests.
My husband has been in contact with my boss to inform them.
I feel soo guilty that I am not there as I know how busy it is at work and we are all a team who pulls together. We work long hours 7-8 some most days on the bounce for up to 7 or 8 days without a a day off.
What I am asking is can they use this against me, can I be disciplined for not going in. What could the repercussions be for me?
I don’t have many sick days on my record just one last year and none this year.
I am so worried.

If you're unable to work, you're unable to work. It's as simple as that.
As it seems you may have worked there less than two years (please confirm) you can be dismissed for no reason at all0 -
I have worked there 6 years full time and nearly 7 years part time.0

And when you DO contact your union ask them for some support in not answering emails on non-working days. Because you shouldn't be.
You're part -time. If there aren't enough hours for you to complete work tasks while you're at work either your hours should be increased or the work reallocated to another member of staff.
Are you still expected to complete the (quantity of) work you used to carry out when you WERE full time?Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Not quite it isn't, no. You're still subject to your employer's sickness policy in terms of reporting said inability to work - when you need to tell them, for how long you can self-certify, when you need a doctor's note, return to work procedures etc.
True, you can't work if you're sick, and no, you can't get done for one incidence of sickness; but it's not a get out of jail free card - too many instances of sickness, especially coupled with not following the company's sickness policy can result in disciplinary proceedings being started against you, which ultimately can lead to the termination of your employment.
All that stuff isn't going to happen now. But that's not to say it can't happen ever.0 -

I agree. Hence join a union0 -
The OP needs to concern themselves with their own health, not the problems in a company which appears to have managers who are incapable of managing.
The OP needs to tell the manager that they will not respond to calls, texts and e-mails outside work hours. If necessary, block the number.0
